𝙔𝙀𝙎, 𝙔𝙊𝙐 · When you're writing captions for your Instagram OR Facebook posts, one of the best attention grabbers is the use of the word "YOU". ⁠ ⁠ When you write as if you're speaking directly to your ideal client, it will speak to this potential future client in a more personal way. Your captions need to be about your audience, not you or your business. . . ⁠ ⁠ Well, most captions. Cause, people do want to know who is behind the business too. Just don't be ALL about yourself. Your iphone, timer/remote, and phone tripod will be the only tools you need.⁠ ⁠ 1. Find a nice brightly lit spot (preferably natural sunlight)⁠ 2. Set up your camera⁠ 3. Pose & click⁠ ⁠ Here's another trick: if you own a canon dslr, you can download the ipad app to take remote photos (while seeing what's in the camera frame!) It's a 2-in-1 deal, make it look like your working on your ipad while controlling the camera.⁠ ⁠ Show me your self-portraits! Tag me in your photos, I'd love to see them.

Y'all, I'm in so many Facebook groups for female c Y'all, I'm in so many Facebook groups for female creative entrepreneurs -- multiple times a day, I see posts asking for f4f (follow for follow). Let me tell ya something: it's pointless. If your only goal is to grow your followers and nothing about gaining new clients/customers, then have at it. ⁠ ⁠ If these followers are following you but NOT engaging with your posts, your engagement rate is 👎🏼 and as a result, your posts will be shown to even less people. Yikes! No one wants that. ⁠ ⁠ The only way to grow your Instagram is to post engaging content that are interesting to your ideal audience. Create awesome posts and get social with those accounts you want attention from.
I love taking client's Instagram accounts from "ni I love taking client's Instagram accounts from "nice" to "oh, I want that!" The trick to having a cohesive grid isn't having ALL professional, branded photos - quite frankly, that can get expensive. You can use your iphone photos too, as long as they look good enough to fit in between the professional photos --- the trick is to choose a filter that will work for all photos, as slight as the filter may be. I was released from the hospital, after giving bir I was released from the hospital, after giving birth, 2 days before lockdown orders were given in the state of VA. Since I work from home, there wasn't too much of a change for me, other than meeting up with clients or going to browse Target whenever I feel like it. ⁠ ⁠ Now, when the opportunity comes up for me to meet with a client in-person or attend a branding photoshoot it's a love/hate task for me. I LOVE meeting with clients and being at photoshoots, but I HATE getting out of my comfortable clothes . . . Monday morning and I'm already wanting to jump bac Monday morning and I'm already wanting to jump back into bed. It's been another busy month of transitioning the business to be even more niched. Instead offering an array of digital marketing services, I've decided to narrow it down to just 3 main services - Instagram marketing, Pinterest marketing and web design FOR personal service type businesses and businesses in the food & restaurant industry. ⁠ ⁠ I enjoy working with these types of businesses because of the creativity that I'm allowed. Like, who doesn't like looking at pictures of tasty desserts or transformation photos with a fitness and nutritious regimen? I love what I do and I want to love every project I take on. ⁠ ⁠ What business move have you done to improve your personal experience with running a business? ⁠
